Horse Rescue in Danville

Horse rescue happened on July 8th, 2004

Rescue was accomplished by using a "Z rig" rescue system

 The tree limbs were cut after a vet sedated the horse.

Fire hose was used to soften the rescue webbing

Capt. Dennis Williams and FF Dan McNamara set up the rescue

The 29 year old horse is pulled away from the tree

The Horse was  rescued without injury
